A story of struggle and conflict, the characters in The Within have reactions based on the result of trauma they experience throughout the book. My heart cries out to anyone who had to endure anything similar to those depicted in these pages. You are warriors and I applaud your strength! Your perseverance is commendable and an inspiration to me, along with a multitude of others! May you find the peace and comfort you desperately deserve!

Beyond that, The Within has been a passion of mine for many years. Life happens and delayed my progress many times and the ending received a significant change over the course of that time. These characters are so much a part of me and I love them all … well, almost all, (here’s looking at you Jack and Cain). With that said, I can’t wait to explore their stories in future installments and I’m hard at work on the next book, where we will see some of the open plot threads explored further.
